What is the difference between Cloud Credits and Private Pro?

Cloud Credits process your audio on our secure EU servers in Frankfurt — fast, GDPR compliant and without a subscription. Private Pro transcribes entirely locally on your device via WebGPU: your audio never leaves your computer. Choose Private Pro if you deal with legal privilege, medical records, or similar requirements.

Do unused credits expire?

Unused Cloud Credits expire 12 months after the purchase date. Purchased credits are non-refundable. With Private subscriptions this does not apply — you transcribe without limits.

What hardware do I need for Private Pro?

Private Pro requires a WebGPU-compatible browser (Chrome 113+ or Safari 18+) and sufficient RAM and GPU capacity. In the dashboard you will find a compatibility check to verify whether your device is suitable.

Can I switch from Cloud to Private?

Yes, you can switch at any time. Remaining credits stay valid. When purchasing a Private subscription, your Cloud Credits are not refunded but remain usable.

How does the business invoicing option work?

Private Teams and business cloud subscriptions support central billing with one monthly invoice for all users. Contact our team for a custom quote or enterprise SLA.
